World's first replica of Dwarkamayee Masjid after Shirdi--Sai ka Aangan. This is the place that I surely would like to visit atleast once in my life time.It is in Sushant Lok, near Paras Hospital, Gurgaon Haryana - India .The temple has stone walls, old lamps from the times in Shirdi and artifacts just like one is used to seeing in Dwarakamai- the favourite residence of Shri Shirdi Sainath. No effort has been spared to identify every detail and replicate so that those who wish to visit Shirdi as often as possible can at least still fulfil their heart's desire by being in these environs for a few moments. The horse Shyam Karna, the tiger who died at Sai Baba's feet, the Chulla where he cooked food, and the Chakki with which he is said to have ground the ailments of His devotees are all replicated. The life size statue of Baba ,in sitting posture made of fibre glass takes one back to the times when Sainath would sit among His followers and lovingly distribute Udi and food cooked with His own hands. The statue embodies and emits an aura of resplendence to all the devotees and countless others. The sacred embers of Lord Sai's Dhuni at Shirdi were brought from the sanctum sanctorium at Sai temple at Chhatarpur. Undoubtely, Sai Ka Aagan is an oasis for those seeking spiritual solace and moments of peace amidst the hustle bustle of Delhi For all those like me who wish to visit this temple on their next visit to Inida- Here is the address Sai ka Aangan Next to E110, Sushant Lok Phase-1 Near Paras Hospital, Gurgaon, Haryana. Nine modes of Devotion - Bowing Before Sai Bowing (Namaskar) means respecting by drawing together both the palms and sincerely bending the head in obedience. If, on the other hand, we raise both the hands in respect, it would mean seeking shelter saying that 'I am depending on you'. Falling on Baba's feet reverentially is known as prostration. It would mean offering one's own self to God by touching the earth with the feet, forehead, heart, hands and respecting with the words. Complete surrender is to offer "life as a flower of worship" to Baba's Feet. We should treat all creation, both of the living and non-living world, as an image of God and offer our respect. In Baba's view, God is one and one sincere gesture of respect is enough. When Sapathnekar bowed again and again, Baba remarked that sincerely bowing once is sufficient. The proprietor of the Bhajanmandali of Madras, came to Shirdi, sang bhajans expecting to get rewarded by Baba. Baba offered him nothing; instead, He appeared in his dreams, erased his past life deeds and revealed His Divinity. Then he bowed to Baba. Sai asked him "is there a difference in the previous bow and now"? The owner admitted that the previous one was done for the sake of getting rewarded by Him, but now he accepted Baba as God and bowed. One whole-hearted expression of bow to Baba will destroy the sins of billion births and bless our souls. Posted By Deepa H |
